ECL library

Since its creation at the end of the 19th century, the Ecole Centrale de Lyon had a library. The current building was built in 1967 by the architect Jacques Perrin-Fayolle and requalified in 2005 by the architect Marc Givry.

The philosopher Michel Serres presided over its inauguration on March 27, 2006. On this occasion, he unveiled the text he had offered to the School, which now appears on its walls in the entrance hall of the library.
